Shri Shri 1008 Haidakhan Wale Baba who is worshipped as Babaji, mysteriously appeared in a cave in 1970, in the tiny hamlet of Haidakhan, near Kathgodam, Uttarakhand. Revered as an avatar of Lord Shiva, devotees from India and all over the world streamed to his holy feet. During his 14-year stay he established ashrams in Haidakhan and Ranikhet, Uttarakhand and across India. His teaching of "Truth, Simplicity, Love" reverberated worldwide, culminating in Baba Haidakhan centres in USA, UK, Europe, Russia, Japan & Indonesia.
